Our fashion client, Sew Sketchy, is worth your attention. We developed a freshly branded website that catered specifically towards Sew Sketchy’s bold and colorful vision that was brought to life. Sew Sketchy is an illustrated fashion icon who loves anything to do with fashion, travel, and luxury. Fashion icons such as Anna Dello Russo, Giovanna Battaglia, and The Man Repeller are all Sew Sketchy fans along with luxury brands such as Valentino, Stuart Weitzman, and Giambattista Valli are all obsessing over her too. It was a great pleasure for our web designers and developers to work on an innovative project linked to fashion, creativity, and inspiration. Sew Sketchy is one of the heavyweights in the fashion industry. She’s a powerful influencer in New York. We, at UPQODE, appreciated Sew Sketchy’s satirical approach where she demystifies stereotypes.
Sew Sketchy is very popular on social media in the US. She’s got a brilliant Instagram account with tens of thousands of followers. The fashion influencer had an ambitious goal to launch an e-commerce website to promote and sell her posters. Our client wanted to classify all shop items into categories, such as Travel and Fashion subcategories. The ultimate need was to attract customers and make the business grow.
Our team enjoyed the development of unique, colorful and inspiring web design. As Sew Sketchy has got her own design style, the website’s graphic chart had to be developed accordingly.
Our main goal was to create a platform that focuses on Sew Sketchy’s imaginative fashion world. We used a clean design that has pink accents throughout the site to showcase Sew Sketchy’s fun feminine side. Along with using black and white colors to emphasize Sew Sketchy’s trademark; her round bold glasses that she is never seen without. We created an intuitive interface for an effortless shopping experience which includes a smooth registration process and ease for artwork purchases.
We created a well-organized and visual online boutique. Customers can see all the posters straight on the homepage. There’s a special tab to the Limited Edition.
Our developers’ team created as well a stylish blog where the influencer can post articles and afterward share them on her social media accounts. The influencer’s fans can visit a page About, dedicated to Sew Sketchy and ready her fascinating story.
Sew Sketchy is fully satisfied with the e-commerce website developed by UPQODE’s designers and coders. The website helped her to convert her followers into site visitors and ultimately into customers.
From a project management standpoint, their communication was phenomenal, and everything went very smoothly. Their team is incredibly upfront and honest about what their skills and capabilities are. At a couple of points, they told us that particular things weren’t realistic for the time or scope of our project, or were outside their skillset, and we really appreciated that honesty. They really take their project management seriously. I think the thing that made our partnership as successful as it was is the fact that our communication truly flowed both ways.
