Website Development and Website design for an interesting project - Archival Arts. For over 20 years, Archival Arts have provided digitizing and art reproduction services for hundreds of Maryland artists. MDArtGalleries was created to provide our artists with a platform to sell prints of their art online.
The UPQODE team ensured interactive elements used sparingly to avoid detracting from the artwork. The overall design is clean, modern, and elegant, that perfectly complements the art on display. Archival Arts now has a website that not only showcases its services and the incredible art on display but also provides users with a seamless and enjoyable browsing experience.
The client wanted the website to have a clean, modern design that emphasized the artwork and allowed it to take center stage. The color palette had to be muted and neutral to not distract users’ attention from the artworks. Typography had to be reliable and easy to read, sans-serif fonts have been used throughout.
All the website pages feature an attention-grabbing animation that showcases the digitizing and art reproduction services that Archival Arts offers. The homepage also includes a brief introduction to Archival Arts and its services, with a prominent call-to-action (CTA) button for users to learn more. The website’s navigation is intuitive and user-friendly, with clear links to important pages, such as the shopping cart and search bar.
Overall, the website is designed to highlight the artworks and ease the browsing and purchasing experience for users. With its clean layout, intuitive navigation, and strong CTAs, the website will be an effective tool for promoting Archival Arts and its artists to a wider audience.
