Spondylitis Association of America (SAA) is the only nonprofit organization in the US dedicating 100% of its resources to improving the lives of spondylitis patients and their families. Since founding in 1983, the SAA has been the face, voice and leading nationwide nonprofit organization educating, empowering and advocating for people living with Spondylitis and its related diseases. Through extensive work with patients, the medical community, and partners SAA team provides information and resources to help people impacted by the disease live better lives and champion research to find a cure.
The client has been engaged in research, treatment, and counseling of patients with spondylitis for over thirty years. Therefore, the important task was to integrate the collected data into a new website, in particular:
Responsive web design – To deliver a good experience to patients, the medical site has to be convenient and user-friendly. Paying attention to all these requirements, created by UPQODE website for SAA has a responsive design with easy navigation and perfect user experience.
Mega Menu – The website is rich in content and contains many pages. Therefore, one of the goals was to create convenient site navigation and a well-organized menu. For users can quickly find what they are looking for, we used a Mega Menu for website navigation. This type of menu is a great design choice for sites with a complex structure and the disclosure of lower-level site pages at a glance.
Micro animation – To drawing users’ attention and make the content more dynamic we applied animation for some parts of the user interface.
Bright colors – Color solutions are becoming one of the biggest trends in medical website design in 2020.
